Barrow upon Soar Removals & Moving Company
Barrow upon Soar is a village on the A6 between Leicester and Loughborough, with a mix of period properties on the North Street and High Street, newer houses on the residential estates, and some converted older buildings. Village centre moves often involve narrow access and on-street parking on busy through-roads. We survey every Barrow move to plan the approach and vehicle size before the day.

Flexible Start Times to Suit Your Move
In Barrow upon Soar, completion times vary and chains occasionally stall. For fixed-price removals waiting on key release, we plan your start time around when you need to vacate. This is discussed and confirmed before moving day.
For hourly removals, we offer flexible start times on half-hour increments throughout the day. Early morning, midday, afternoon or evening. The team stays until the job is done and works safely and efficiently throughout.
Your Dedicated Barrow upon Soar Removal Team
We cover Barrow upon Soar and the LE12 postcode, including Quorn, Sileby, Cossington, and Seagrave. For moves along the A6 corridor between Barrow and Loughborough or Leicester, we handle those regularly. The East Midlands Railway line through the village means a number of residents here commute to Nottingham or Leicester, and we are used to planning moves around that demand in both directions.
Period properties on North Street and South Street often have limited off-road parking and narrow frontages. We look at both access points at the survey and choose the right vehicle and loading sequence for each property. For newer estate properties, access is generally more straightforward, but we still survey to confirm both ends of every fixed-price move.
Furniture Dismantling and Reassembly
Beds, wardrobes and larger items are dismantled by the team and rebuilt at your new home as part of the move. Our vehicles carry the tools needed, and this is planned at the survey stage.
If you know dismantling will be needed, let us know at the survey stage so we can plan the right team size and timings. There are a few things we cannot carry out, such as electrical disconnections or wall mounting. If you are unsure, ask at the survey and we will advise.
Optional Packing Services
Packing is usually the most time-consuming part of any house move. Our professional packing service is normally completed the day before your move. The team packs everything carefully, wraps fragile items, and labels each box by room. Full packing, part packing, and fragile-only packing are all available.
Materials are all included in the packing service. We collect boxes after the move for reuse. Unpacking at your new address is also available if you would like that arranged.
With Simply Moving handling the physical side of your Barrow upon Soar move, you can focus on the legal and practical steps. We also offer storage if there is a gap between leaving your current property and getting into the new one.
